My grandmother, god rest her soul, had great taste in fragrances & not to sound mean but I honestly didn't want to try any of these from this particular brand, as I hate vintage stuff. However, I take back my words after a whiff of Heliotrope Blanc and it is stunning!. For a cologne it sure smells wonderful, that buttery vanilla note/cookie smell just woke up my senses and I now wear it with pride everywhere I go. I even had an old man in church ask me; "is that scent what I think it is?" "Heliotrope Blanc, correct?" I had to answer nicely and his eyes just lit up with happy tears. It was his late wife's wedding scent and he thanked me for bringing back those joyful memories of her. Just goes to show that classics never die, and don't knock them without trying them.

An underrated gem from the house of L.T. Piver! Heliotrope Blanc is summery-vanilla happiness in a bottle... from first spray, almond and vanilla shine atop a gentle bouquet of flowers. A must-own for vanilla fans!

This was a blind buy and I absolutely love this cologne. It has surprising longevity and it creates a nice scent bubble. I like to use this as a weekend fragrance. It is cozy and relaxing.
