Great dupe of PDM Herod. Hercules is a bit rough around the edges where Herod is smoother. much more woody (prominent cedar for first 10 minutes) and musk leaning whereas Herod leans more into the cherry pipe tobacco-Vanilla DNA. The tobacco in this is more dirty, dry and earthy. If you love Herod, this will scratch the itch and allow you to conserve/keep your Herod for special occasions. A great inspired clone of Herod, which is an absolute masterpiece

Excellent replacement for Herod-- I fell in love with the original, but have so many other big ticket fragrances in my rotation that splurging on a full bottle of it wouldn't make sense. What an easy, carefree purchase! Safe blind buy if you like the original scent profile. Lacks some of the original's projection, but I am going to tuck the bottle away until the fall and see if it performs a little better after it's sat around a bit. A nice gift for the tobacco loving men in your life. A no-brainer!

I have a bottle of Herod & this smells exactly the same. It's so good. Problem is projection & longevity are worse than the original. This is for your own enjoyment. I love it.

This is the dupe of Herod from PDM and it absolutely 100% the same!! I was skeptical when I purchased but after getting it and have the original let me tell you this...there is no way you'll be able to tell which is which. Highly recommend this if you don't wanna spend the 400 for the OG!!! You're gonna LOVE this!!!
