The woodsy aroma of Vintage Green 78 is a clean and fresh fragrance for both men and women. Launched in 2017, this fragrance comes from the house of Banana Republic. At the top are notes from Bergamot, Mandarin Orange and Green Notes. The middle is a scintillating combination of notes from Fig, Green Tea, Magnolia and Jasmine. The fragrance closes to an end with notes from Vetiver, Musk and Cedar for a closure that keeps you on the top of your game.

Much better than I expected. I purchased this fragrance blindly due to the price. Once I put my nose on it I knew that this was a great choice. Now I’ve worn Vintage Green 78 for a week. The compliments don’t stop. I will never be without this fragrance again. It’s now my “go to” summer fragrance. It’s clean, crisp and office safe.

I love this fragrance. I like the green, fresh and clean projection of all of its notes. As much as I would love to wear this during Spring and Summer days the fragrance only lasts on me for 2-3 hours before needing a respray. I have found that I enjoy it most at the end of a long day when I want to reset with a shower and a fresh spray before settling in for the evening at home with a movie to relax. The projection and vibe in this scenario is when I enjoy this fragrance the most. It's just my opinion but I think the outdoors just overwhelms this fragrance if you're the type who needs to get an occasional whiff of yourself while out and about. I would recommend to a friend with the caveat to hang out at home to enjoy it at its best.

If you like green colognes, this is the best I’ve ever smelled. It’s got a green tea scent to it and it’s amazing!

This was the first perfume I bought as an adult. I saw it on deep discount in a BR store and thought, "Huh, I'll check this out!" So, many thanks to Vintage Green for a delightful introduction to the world of fragrances. This really is a "green" scent, driven by the well-realized unripe fig note (green apple meets pear), and the supporting floral and citrus elements walk the unisex line precisely. Things never get to flowery or sweet, even in the hottest summer weather. This is a thoughtfully made scent at a fantastic relative price point; sniffing it in preparation for this review, I'm kind of wishing I was wearing it instead of the lauded - and exponentially more expensive - niche perfume I put on this morning. If you want to add a non-cloying fruit scent to your collection, this is a fantastic, low-risk option.

Banana Republic 78 Vintage Green I have both Wildbloom Vert and Malachite fragrances from BR, and I liked both of them because I LOVE green scents!! Vintage Green has a very fresh, citrusy top note that is pretty unisex---but as it dries down into a warmer, woody floral dry down, I realized what it reminds me of---Estee Lauder's Aliage---one of my favorite green fragrances from the 1970's, now very hard to find!! So--I am very pleased with this purchase and will probably buy a larger bottle at some point---if you love fresh, green scents--you'll like this one!!
