The woody, warm and spicy fragrance of Leather Oud is an attractive scent for women and men from the house of Floris. Launched in 2014, this perfume opens with notes from bergamot and leather. The heart is alluring with hints of geranium, carnation, patchouli and agarwood, while woody notes along with amber, vetiver and agarwood is distinct at the base.

For Floris
Leather Oud will smell a little different on everyone. On my skin the leather is forward and not a synthetic or cloying leather, a sweet leather it reminds me of a Mercedes S500 I had years ago. The oud is there and to my nose smells Cambodian, it's spicy like pepper and slightly medicinal for the first hour. As it goes into the heart you get geranium and some sweetness and smokey darkness. The base is a light amalgam of leather, oud and geranium. Beautifully blended and well executed.

I’ve been a fan of Floris for more than 30 years, and I own more than 20 Floris scents. I can honestly say this is the first one I don’t like. It’s pungent and had a medicinal smell to it. I thought it had gone bad at first because it smelled that awful. Deeply disappointed by this one, but not deterred. Already moving on to another newish one (Wilde or maybe Mulberry Fig)

Much like the Honey Oud from Floris, this is another great gem to add to the collection. A much more masculine version and great for the Winter or cold evenings.

A beautiful long-lasting fragrance. Opening is gorgeous, seductive. Very masculine scent.

I'm surprised that this was listed as a woman's fragrance. I like it because it is full body with great staying power, but I feel in the dry down it becomes very-very masculine. This wasn't what I was looking for, and won't repurchase again because it isn't me.
