Manifesto Yves Saint Laurent is a classy fragrance for women that was created by the design house of Yves Saint Laurent in 2012. Beginning with the delicious combination of black currant, bergamot and green notes, this fragrance opens with a fruity, sharp aroma and transits into a rejuvenating scent when the lily of the valley and Sambac jasmine middle notes develop. As the fragrance comes to completion, a light vanilla undertone emerges and remains with you for hours.

As with all YSL, a well-blended perfume with layers. A splendid perfume for a woman of confidence. Not for the faint of heart. If you’re a YSL fan, as I am, you’ll like it. Surprisingly underrated. Every bit as strong as Libre, but less lavender, and more sensual. Not a strong vanilla. I seem to keep the Lilly-of-the-valley and Sambac jasmine. Don’t judge it until it’s had time to develop. Time is this perfume’s best friend. Within the hour it will develop into a real sexy masterpiece. Maybe that’s why they call it Manifesto, it ‘manifests.’ Probably not work place safe like Libre. Date night, colder weather, a heavier perfume.

This is a yummy vanilla scent without being a foodie vanilla. I don’t like smelling like cake frosting and this is not that type of scent. It’s well balanced with the rest of the notes and projection is good as well as longevity. I think this is a dressed up scent that would work best in cooler climate or not too hot nights out.

My all time favorite perfume!!!! I love it! It’s earthy and feminine yet it has hints of vanilla just the perfect perfume for me
