This is a delightful alternative to Café and it lasts a little longer than Café, but Café is still the best of the fragrances.

I have some of the classic CAFE fragrance--famous back in the 80's as an excellent dupe of YSL's OPIUM-- so I looked at the ingredients and thought that this could be a good dupe of BLACK OPIUM---but alas--it's close but not quite--no patchouli--no black coffee notes!! It's perfectly nice--just not what I was looking for!!

Intenso by CAFE is a very pleasant smell. Surprisingly. Opening is fresh. But then drying down into a nice sweet aroma with a touch of freshness. Reminds me of some Escada perfumes mixed with Dolce Gabbana “light blue”. I blindly bought Cafe by CAFE. And that one is giving me headache in first few mins. But Intenso - such a pleasant fruity-berry smell. I don’t smell coffee at all. But citrusy vanilla. It reminds me Amor Amor by Cacharel.
