Un Jardin Sur Le Nil
product description
Reminiscent of lush gardens falling into glittering rivers, Un Jardin sur le Nil eau de toilette for women has all the elements that capture in a complex fragrant blend the vegetal, aquatic and earthy facets of life by the water. Launched in 2005 by Hermes, this signature scent begins with carrot and tomato, making a surprising entrance as top notes. Grapefruit undertones create a sweet-green background for the floral heart, sustained and refreshed by the watery aromas of lotus and bulrush. A spectacular scent for summer days, rich and fresh at the same time, Un Jardin sur le Nil is perfectly wearable during colder months, when it takes you on an instant journey to luxuriant places and gives you a mysterious aura.
Beautiful but longevity is weak
Fresh, floral, light, lush and green. You can really notice the notes evolving. Unfortunately doesn’t stay too long on the skin but does on clothes.

The lush rich floral notes are gentle. A light breeze of the Nile is exactly what they were going for and nailed it. This was a blind buy for my wife and she fell in love before I could open the box. Definitely a nice spring day vibe with this one.

I can see why this scent is so universally loved, but it's a bit too herbal for me. I would love a touch more floral in it. However, I can tell it's well done, and it is very fresh. If you like fresh, green scents, this one is worth your time.
