This is so beautiful. Not overly sweet floral scent which could be worn by a confident man too. I layer this with Queen of Silk to create this deep, rich scent that lasts 8+ hours.

Creed Carmina EDP is a luxurious fruity-rose fragrance with black cherry, saffron, rose, cashmere woods, amber, and soft musk. It smells rich, elegant, feminine, and high-end with a smooth sensual warmth instead of being overly sweet. Compared to the darker fragrances I typically lean into for the ladies, such as CH Good Girl, or YSL Black Opium, Carmina is more refined, romantic, soft and polished — the kind of scent that smells expensive, confident, and dressed-up without being overpowering. It’s considered one of Creed’s more modern and seductive fragrances.

Creed Carmina is a good fragrance. It did take several months for me to enjoy it. When it comes to floral and fruit scents, I typically prefer softer and lighter fragrances like Creed's Spring Flowers or Jardin. For me, Carmina is a bit strong at first spray, but not as strong as Creed's Wind Flowers of which I have a full size bottle (ie. an impulse buy). After 30 minutes, Carmina dries down nicely with a cherry or berry-like base. Thankfully, Frangrancenet offers travel-sized options. This allowed for a longer testing period for me. Now in May 2026, I enjoy Carmina as part of my floral-fruit scent rotation.
