This fragrance is such a lovely affordable vintage! It's very cozy and powdery with lovely waxy aldehydes that make the scent soft and round without a hint of harshness. Very much a skin scent (complimentary) and not at all sickly sweet to me

I first wore this perfume when I was 12 (now 77) and my grandma's cousin put some on me and I loved it. It used to be in a little black bottle with a dipper in it to apply it with. At the time it was actually perfume not just toilet water so the scent lasted much longer. It has been my main perfume throughout my life and I still love it just as much as I did 65 years ago. I find it so delicate and feminine.

I love L'Amante by Coty so much! Don't know why it is so hard to find. The smell is so soft & lovely. I really hope they never quit making this beautiful fragrance. ❤

I was introduced to L’Aimant when I was about 12. My grandmother would dab a bit behind my ears before I went to school. The girls called me “Miss Coty”. My grandmother actually liked the “L’Origan” better but you can no longer find it. Maybe I love the scent or maybe I just have great memories!
