Lightning struck in 1872 when Clive Christian masterfully crafted this one. And I'm eternally grateful they haven't tinkered with it since. The classically elegant scent effortlessly manages to blend fresh, green, floral and citrus notes all at once, rendering a complex but not complicated masterpiece. Yet, it still manages to dry down to a warm, welcoming, lingering scent on the skin for endless. As a scent collector, I have many bottles at my disposal from which to choose & experiment.
