Sweet but not too sweet, kind of Jammy. The bottle is a top notch heavy weight with a glass cap. This is a gourmand without being too overpowering. It lasts quite a while which is good because you don't want to carry around the bottle due to its weight,

This is a gorgeous gourmand rose perfume. In this beautiful red romantic bottle is 6 different types of roses along w/ vanilla, chocolate, candied orange violets and deep woody notes. It starts off smelling like a pure rose soliflore but as it progresses the candied violets, rich vanilla, deep woods and chocolate blend w/ the roses and it becomes a romantic and heavenly perfume. I bought a back up bottle to make sure I was never w/out this amazing perfume. My husband loves this and begs me to wear it. If you love roses but think you have all the types of rose perfumes that are out there give this one a try. I have a lot of different rose perfumes but this one is the most interesting in my collection. It is a true gourmand rose and another plus there is no patchouli in the drydown. While I like patchouli a lot, it has become overdone in fragrances today. This is unique, beautiful, and very sexy.

A fragrance collector  

A sweet, jammy rose fragrance, the rose doesn't seem to fade but a spicy sweetness develops after it dries down. It does have staying power last well over eight hours. The bottle and cap is beautiful and very heavy, it looks lovely sitting on my dresser.
