But be aware: the oud here leans a little oily and funky in the opening. It’s not overwhelming, but it does have that slightly animalic twist that some people love and others might find surprising. If you enjoy complex, heavy, textured ouds and warm resinous fragrances, this one develops beautifully on the skin and becomes truly addictive. Just don’t expect a clean, beginner-friendly oud — this has character.
