I was heartbroken when Ralph Lauren discontinued Polo Red Intesne, my signature fragrance since about 2018, but the new polo red EDP is like 90% polo red Intesne. If you’re not familiar with the original, it was a bold, spicy fragrance, like an Italian sports car. which I love because it seems like every fragrance I smell is fresh/clean scents and I love to have something more daring and bold in my arsenal. It has the fruity top, and wood/spice dry down, but with a little more nuance and more refined and it now has a slight Candy vibe as opposed to the original polo red intese, without being necessarily sweeter. Coffee isn’t listed as a note but I still get coffee as a phantom note. Really digging the new bottle as well, you can see how much you have left and there’s a better atomizer. Projection seems slightly better as well. Great purchase
