Jacomo de Jacomo
product description
The oriental-woody fragrance of the Jacomo De Jacomo Eau De Toilette is reminiscent of the spicy, sophisticated scents of the old times. Classic and masculine, this 1980 launch evokes a feeling of nostalgia with its smoky blend. The first whiff lets you smell notes of Lavender, Cardamom and Glbanum. The heart is resplendent with a spicy-floral blend of Geranium, Rosewood, Cinnamon, Clove and Cumin. Base notes of Oakmoss and Patchouli give it a light scent with the edge of masculinity.

First time I bought this is was in 82 at Filenes in Boston...my first adult cologne as a teenager...and have had many other great scents over the decades...but this Has To Be...The Best Cologne ever created...Baldessarini second...and CK Encounter third.

The opening is too smoky but the dry down is great. I prefer the rouge over this one.

I haven't smelled this scent for almost 35 years. I bought it to remember, and it's everything I remember.
