This is a fantastic scent! It's very clean, with just a hint of ocean brine. If you have worn any Tommy Bahama, you know there is always a bit of a clean ocean smell. Add some Polo or Dolce blue to that mix and you get a clean, slightly spiced version of a the "blue" smell. It is clean enough yet individual scent to stick out. One of my favorites-- seems to go well with everything and most people like it. Starts strong, but hits the perfect scent at about 30 mins. Lasts about 5 hours on me. Will buy again!

Like the previous review, it does have a similar Polo Blue vibe going on but I also get a Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue feel also. Of all of Tommy Bahama lines i thought the Maritime Journey was their best scent but this i think tops it due to the Polo Blue/D&G Light Blue scent. True, it does fade on the skin after 4 hours or so, but a few extra sprays on your clothes always gets me through a 8 hour day. Very safe Blind Buy if your into Blue & Aquatic scents. For the price you can get 4-6 bottles of this for the same price if you where to buy a bottle of Polo & D&G together. So if your like me, to save up on the usage of my Polo & Dolce I'll blend and pair them with Maritime Deep Blue. It works great with either of them and doesn't come off unbalanced.
