Louis Vuitton Meteoremen

Beautiful citrus aquatic opening, with an unreal sparkle unlike much of anything I've tried... then it quickly settles to something that smells an awful lot like old school Azzaro Chrome, that blend of citruses, aquatic and ozonic notes, so clean it feels metallic... and if it stopped there, I would seriously love this. The problem is that the base goes much further into modern blue territory, and you end up with a heap of thick blue woody amber notes like so many other generic mall scents. After the first hour, I just wanted to scrub this off. The opening is beautiful, but at the end of the day, I'd rather wear Chrome.
