From Runway to Real Way: Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013

Rebecca Minkoff's Spring Summer 2013 overall look was inspired by a summer vacation, and the hair to accompany the collection was no exception to that. The look featured beach waves with polished ends, and we had to get the details on how to get this casual, yet glam look.
The collection called for a relaxed, chic style, and hair stylists from TRESemmé nailed it on the head. Head stylist Jeanie Syfu created an undone, sophisticated on for the how to steps!

Start by applying a finishing spray and foaming mousse through the hair and powder dry with fingers for texture.

Smooth out the ends with a brush

Take random sections of hair and using a 1" barrel curling iron, create curls through the mid-lengths, making sure to leave the ends out

Use a flat iron to straight ends and give the beach texture a polished finish

Spray lightly with a volumizing dry shampoo for that matte look

Lastly, create a middle part with a comb and finish with a dime size of anti frizz cream to fingertips, raking through hair from roots to ends.
