ZEN perfume by Shiseido

My first encounter with ZEN was in 1969. I could'nt get it out of my head. It was the most heavenly aroma I had ever smelled in a fragrance. Very clean smelling, with undertones of lillies and spice, orange blossoms and a subtle hint of woods. It lingers a long time. The longer you wear it the more prevelent it becomes. I prefer pure perfume so I bought a 1/4 oz. It lasted a very long time.

I discovered Shiseido ZEN in the late 1970's and immediately knew I had finally found "my own personal scent"...
every man I have been around has complimented me on the scent of ZEN. I have worn only 2 perfumes since the 1970's and they are Shiseido ZEN and Jean-Charles Brosseau's OMBRE ROSE = both are the most fabulous & sensual fragrances you will EVER find.

disappointed in the scent - purchased Zen in department store and bottle and scent were different. Item purchased is cologne spray, would definitely prefer the golden cube shape bottle "Eau de Perfume" or "Eau de Toilette".

Zen has been the only fragrance I've worn for over 25 years. I keep trying others and nothing ever compares for subtlety and beauty.

I ordered this Zen thinking I was getting the original perfume in the white bottle. It is not any where close. It is not near a subtle as the original Zen. I could wear it and it was not so strong. I prefer to wear a perfume that I do not smell on myself, but smells good to people around me. When I wear strong perfume, I eventually get a headache. I do not really like this perfume.
