Sicily by Dolce & Gabanna is the most mature, modern fragrance I've sampled in a long time. It is my favorite; has a citrus quality that reminds of me the lemon trees in Sicily and my beautiful now deceased grandmother from Catania. Any adult woman of Mediterranean descent will probably love this fragrance; it's truly my favorite; unfortunately, it is not available in US stores, so I'm thrilled that fragrancenet carries it. I love the scent of this perfume but it does not last very long at all, that is disappointing! I have to re apply all the time. It is very light in fragrance and lasting power. I too agree there is not enough bergamot in this to satisfy my need. Buy it in a large quantity!

I actually bought this for my daughter. She has not tried it yet. I found that it didn't have the staying power of Poison or White Diamonds (my two favoritea). Do you have other suggestions? If my daughter likes this, I will be ordering for her.

Sicily is one of the nicest fragrances I have found in several years. People stop me all the time and ask me what I am wearing,it is classy and romantic good from office to evening and I have never had a problem with it wearing off..I am starting to smell the fragrance around the office ,and not on me!!!! I tried a sample vial of Sicily and knew immediately that I had to buy it. This is an incredible scent! Light wood tones mixed with florals. Very exotic. While the scent lasts for a really long time, it is light and sensual...not at all overpowering. I love to try lots of new scents and Sicily has definitely become one of my favorites.
