This was my father's favorite women's perfume, and so my mother always wore it. I remember it's aroma wafting into my bedroom and thinking it was the loveliest scent there ever was. Needless to say, it's my favorite -- has been since I was five. I held out until I was 15 to buy my own bottle. At 27, I wouldn't trade it for any other perfume.

Shalimar came as a gift years ago. I've worn it ever since. It has a vanilla base, isn't too flowery on me, and it has a history of being created for a Japanese Empress. It smells a little differently on each women who wears it. As it mixes with your bodies chemistry, it doesn't smell exactly alike on every woman. My friend wears it and it doesn't smell the same on her as it does me. I get asked all the time, "what is that, it smells so good". People are surprised when hearing what it is.

I love Shalimar, it's a classic, romantic fragance and have worn it for 40 years.

Shalimar is my favorite and the only fragrance I wear. I guess you could say it is my signature fragrance. The price it was offered at FragranceNet.com was incredible. I recommend this site strongly.

My husband gave me my first bottle of Shalimar over 37 years ago, and I have worn it ever since. It has become my 'signature scent', and I am not even tempted by other fragrances. I wear it everyday, and the compliments I have received are much too many to count.

My daughter gave it to me as a Mother's day present, before Shalimar my favorites were COCO and #19 by Chanel. It all depends on HOW you wear it. I fell in love with it and I wear it everyday for the past 3 years. A lots of guys in my office and among our friends told me this perfume is very sexy and sensual and it smells like real woman.
