I wore Shalimar when I was a teenager, but as I got older, the scent was a little to strong for me. Now that Shalimar comes in a light scent, I wear it all the time. I just love the scent on my skin.

Shalimar Light
I have been wearing this for a few years now and its the first full bottle of perfume I've actually finished without getting tired of it. Its fresh with a little spice and warmth to it at the same time, and it last almost all day. I am constantly comlimented when i wear it, by men and women alike.

men go crazy over this...and me when Im wearing it, I layer it with lemon body lotion and it just sparkles.

Have been using Shalimar for 30 years and my husband just gave me the light version, it's great for daily use, and I still use the original for evenings out when I want something more intense.Even my daughter likes the light which is perfect for young women too!

This smells like lemon and vanilla mostly. It's a very pleasant oriental that I do like, but I have never liked the regular Shalimar. This smells like the original without that heavy, dull, smoky smell. Very nice.

I never knew that Shalimar came in a Light Scent, I find it perfect and just as lovely as the regular scent I have been wearing for years.

Don't let the name scare you! Shalimar Light is initially a cool lemony vanilla scent, but the drydown is soft, powdery, and totally feminine. Just lovely ... and VERY different from the original!

Initially, a lovely burst of citrus, then fades down to an almost gentle, younger sister of the original "Shalimar" more suitable for all ages than "Shalimar" the original, and able to be worn during the day. Lovely!

I've used Shalimar years ago, but I've found I like Shalimar Light even better. It's light enough to wear anytime and I love to spay it on clean sheets and crawl into bed.
