I remember when I was in my twenties I went to a department store trying on different fragrances and I settled on estee the fragrance lifted my spirit and made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. Recently, I was out shopping and a lady walk by me I ask her what was she wearing it brought back joyful memories and the rest is history
I have worn Estee since I received it as a gift in the 70's. I just love it and consider Estee to be a sophisticated fragrance. I thought that Estee Lauder had modified their "Estee" fragrance but didn't realize the difference between Eau de Cologne and Eau de Parfum. When I saw the bottle at the FragranceNet website, I realized that the smooth bottle I had been getting the past few years (at a well known department store) was not the same as the diamond cut type of glass bottle I had used for years. I just thought they changed the bottle not realizing the fragrance in the smoother bottle was more diluted. So I read up on the differences in perfume names and strengths and then ordered two bottles of Estee's Eau de Parfum from FragranceNet. I am so very happy that I did. I wear this scent everywhere and receive compliments. I am not sure Estee is meant for those who really like the exceedingly fruity scents that are in today's marketplace. While I wear Estee most often, I also wear (in the order of preference after Estee): Red by Giorgio, Aromatics Elixir by Clinique, White Linen by Estee Lauder, Caleche by Hermes and Eternity by Calvin Klein. If you like some/any of these fragrances, I think you'll like Estee.
