A very nice cologne for men. Not overpowering and long lasting. A cologne most women would find to be quite pleasant and men would use it as an aftershave.

I'm a woman and this is one of the first men's cologne I wore back in the 90's and I still have a bottle on hand always! Initial spray is black pepper-lavendery; it settles into a flowery-cigar scent that bundles you up in a leather chair on a damp night! Fantastic nighttime scent. It lasts hours (days if you spray it on clothes). Although an eau de toilette, it lasts like a full -bodied perfume. A lesser-known gem that is being phased out—buy it, it's a steal!

Smells fantastic after a time... Out of the bottle it smells of a strong lotion type scent. As it mellows it smells a touch fruity with a lotiony chaser. I really like it! Complex indeed and unique.
