I am so glad you have some of these Coty fragrances. They used to let you send for small sample bottles when I was a teenager in England, and L'Origan was one of them. It has a wonderful, spicy smell which I imagine an exotic Indian or Asian bazaar would smell like, and I have always thought it the perfect perfume for a dressy or romantic evening. Unlike similar perfumes it is not overpowering.

This perfume brings back memories of my grandmother who passed away in 1974. She was a beautiful person in and out. I remember her wearing this perfume, and seeing the perfume bottle on her dresser with the sticks in the bottle. When I found this perfume again I bought, I am 51 years old and love the perfume. 2 things remind me of my grandmother when I smell the scents L'Origan is one of them and the other is a Night Blooming Jasmine tree, and yes I have one of those by my front door..

My Great Aunt wore this. It's a very pleasant childhood memory. It hav always been my favorite and I was really upset when I couldn't find it in the stores anymore. My sister and I have always refered to it as Aunt Shirley. My friends always compliment me on it, and I tell them, " that's Aunt Shirley" One day a friend of mine called me and said "I found Aunt Shirley on line". I was so excited!!!! I hope you don't stop selling it!!!!

One of the main reasons why I like to wear L'Origan perfume is because it makes me feel transported to another era. I have a fondness for vintage perfume. Since L'Origan came out in 1905, it's certainly vintage perfume, and it smells like it. A good aspect about it is its versatility -- it could be worn anywhere. I've used Coty Airspun Face Powder ever since I was a teenager, and these two products smell alike. I like that aspect about it, too. Also, it's not strong enough to offend anyone. If someone likes old-fashioned perfume, then she should try L'Origan.

This is exactly as I remember it from years ago. Just superb. A lot of perfumes these days smell the same - and/or have a very harsh chemical smell. L'Origan is so soft and heavenly, yet the smell lingers. I thought it was gone forever until I saw it on this site. I hope you always keep it.
