Gendarme is a very pleasant and subtle musky/fruity fragrance. The scent stays close to the body making it a great cologne for romantic evenings...your lady will want to get a better smell of it, which means she'll have to get closer. It can also be used for office wear as it won't offend those around you.

I've used this since its inception in 1991...The compliments have been numerous from both sexes. It is a subtle, body chemistry active fragrance that improves over time worn. Very pleasant. This review applies to both Gendarme and Grabazzi.

Was first hipped to it in the early 90's and fell in love with it. My wife stayed in close quarters just to get a whiff of it. One of the most natural romantic scents for a man's cologne.
