Parfums De Coeur (Designer)
Parfums de Coeur (which translates as “perfumes of the heart”) was founded in 1981 and is based in Darien, Connecticut; it is now also known as PDC Brands. The Parfums de Coeur family of mass-market brands includes Calgon, Body Fantasies, BOD Man, and Designer Imposters. Body Fantasies offers a popular range of scented body sprays, and Designer Imposters is a longtime player in the alternative fragrance market. Calgon has been offering scented bath products since the 1940s and became famous for its advertising slogan “Calgon, Take Me Away!” in the 1970s; PDC has expanded Calgon’s scent range and revived that classic tagline.
Parfums de Coeur also offers perfumes originally offered by the fragrance brand Prince Matchabelli, including the classic Wing Song as well as Skin Musk, a clean yet sexy blend of musk, sandalwood, and subtle florals that has been a best-seller since its creation by Bonne Bell in 1975.
