- Design House: Chopard
- Fragrance Notes: Labdanum And Vetiver
- Year Introduced: 2011
- Recommended Use: evening
Chopard introduced Noble Cedar for men in 2011. Not surprisingly, cedar is the core of this fragrance, but its woody masculine scent also includes spicy notes. The fragrance's top note is fresh birch, and sage adds a rich spicy heart, lasting hours before base notes of labdanum and vetiver come through for a strong finish. This great fragrance is perfect for cold weather, day or night, and it's especially well suited for formal events and first dates.

I am fond of cedar so I bought Noble Cedar without knowing anything about it. It turned out to be a fine cologne. When you apply it there is an initial blast of cedar with some warm spice which eventually mellows down to mild cedar with a smidgen of patchouli. No flowers or citrus. The bottle is a work of art and looks classy on the bathroom shelf. Noble Cedar projects a masculine but comfortable presence, like the inside of a wooden hunting cabin. I consider it one of the better colognes, not part of the department store crowd.
