50 yrs ago I was at a party when a young man I did not know came up to me, put his arm around my waist & said "I haven't smelled 'Crepe de Chine' since Paris before the War!" (How could you not like a fragrance with that reaction!)

I first found crepe de chine in the early 60's and am very happy to be able to get it again. This smells just like the original it's the only perfume which does NOT give me a headache when worn I wish you would provide it in a small size to carry in a hand-bag, for times when one unexpectedly needs it. (when that attractive man walks across the room towards you; or another one gives you a big (come and talk to me smile)

I found this fragrance in the 70's; could not find it again for some time; then, thanks to Fragrance Net, I am a happy woman again......this is simply wonderful.

I have a couple of old empty bottles of this classic chypre style fragrance from the 1920s, one at eau de toilette strength and the other the extrait itself. The recreation by Long Lost Perfume seems to be very close to the original, and in due course I look forward to obtaining others in their line, such as My Sin and Bond Street to see how they compare with the originals. Maybe one day they'll get around to Lanvin's Scandale, a great favourite of mine years ago.

This fragrance was given to me on my 16th birthday by my Mom. I used it for many, many years and then it disappeared. I was so happy to find it again. I'll be 65 next month
