4 Scary Fragrances for Boo-tiful Halloween

Trick or treat? When it comes to scary fragrances fit for Halloween, we’ve got a bit of both. They aren’t scary in the sense of smell, of course, but some of their names might inspire a little bit of fear. While the aromas are as inviting as a good witch, the bad witch in you will love them too. Because these scents captivate, and may even haunt, all of your admirers into spellbinding submission. So let’s get going on these goodies.

Christian Dior is a designer with a loyal following enraptured by what’s fashionable, and Hypnotic Poison is one feminine fragrance we favor. With a strong scent of jasmine and lower tones of amber, almond and woods, it’s easy to see why people would rather live with the scent of “danger” than die without it.

Now you see it, now you don’t. Floating figures abound on All Hallows Eve, and enticing aromas can remain in a room long after you’ve left – if you’re wearing Apparition by Ungaro . A combination of passion flower, tonka bean, rose, patcholi, raspberry and heliotrope leave an inviting scent for all to enjoy.

So many horror films have you on the edge of your set with suspense and bloodshed. We may not be huge fans of the genre, but we do find Bloody Orange by Alice & Peter  perfume that offers a similar adrenaline rush – sans the slashing – with elevating aromas of spices, carrot and orange.

What’s scarier than creatures of the night? Creatures of the night in the moonlight. Nighttime is the right time for fright, and also enchanting fragrance. Ghost Moonlight by Tanya Sarne  features seductive aromas of bergamot and ginger blended with pink peony, lily of the valley and amber, among others.

5 Fall Beauty Essentials

The temperature’s getting cooler, and the leaves are starting to change…so fall is officially in full swing. That means it’s high time to get a hold of the essential products you’ll need for the season. From exfoliating away dry post-summer skin to taming wild wind-swept tresses and hydrating lackluster lips, we’ve got the five products to keep you pretty all autumn long. You have to use your head when it comes to handling tangled tresses because the seasonal winds can definitely do some damage to your ‘do. Biolage by Matrix Detangling Solution for Normal to Oily  can help you get a hold of your strands, keeping them healthy, happy and snag-free.

Getting your hands on some gorgeous fall foliage is always a fun activity, but it may leave your skin feeling a bit rough and dry. La Prairie Cellular Hand Cream will revitalize your hands now and shield them from further harm in the future.

Putting your best face forward can be a challenge during the change from summer to fall, but you can keep your skin renewed with ease. Regular use of M.D. Forte Skin Rejuvenation Hydra Masque will make your face feel completely refreshed and reinvigorated.

Now that your face is feeling renewed, it’s time to take care of the rest of your body. A simple way to get your silhouette in some seriously smooth shape is with Shiseido Refining Body Exfoliator . It buffs off the dead skin cells and reveals the beauty underneath.

Last but certainly not least, we come to perfecting your pout – a very important part of making a great impression. Wind and sun can make your lips feel dry and dehydrated, but Bioelements Lip Buff can quite bring them back to life.

A Toast to Beauty: 6 Beverage-Inspired Products

When filling your glass with favorite drinks for fall, there are a lot of options to choose from. And whether it’s wine, coffee or tea, there are plenty of beverage-inspired beauty products to enjoy as well. Your cup could run over unless you get a little guidance, so we’re here to help you out with a handful of our favorite picks that will satisfy every beauty’s thirst.

Warming up with a glass of red wine is easy, especially since there are so many delicious bottles to choose from. For us, something fabulous from France is always a safe bet and enlightening experience for the senses – which brings us to Tapers Autumn Harvest It comes in colors of Terra Cotta, Caramel, and you guessed it, beautiful Bordeaux.

Nothing beats a great cup of Joe in the morning to get you going. A kick of crave-worthy caffeine just hits the spot. Your skin can enjoy a similar revitalizing experience too, with a little assistance from Fresh Face Essence With Green Coffee.

Tea for two is always the ideal way to spend an afternoon. The ritual is relaxing and fun for everyone in attendance, and the scones, crumpets or cookies definitely seal the deal. Just as luxurious is no doubt ravishing Bvlgari Red Tea eau de cologne spray.

If cocktails are more your thing, one of the most decadently delicious is Brazil’s tantalizing national treasure the caipirinha. Made with cachaça, sugar and fruit, it’s a refreshing combination that’s lip-smacking good. Speaking of which, Becca Caipirinha Glossy Lip Tint  offers quite a similar sensation.

Lest we forget something bubbly…instead of grabbing the champagne we’re gravitating instead toward ginger ale. It’s not just invigorating, but also great for the stomach, with a scent that’s completely comforting  one that Demeter gingerale cologne spray captures to aromatic perfection.
