Aqua Allegoria Winter Delice was not quite what I expected. I thought it would be pine-scented, as described, but is really more "grandma" smelling.

I'm torn between calling Aqua Allegoria Winter Delice elegant and romantic. To me it's both.

I purchased this fragrance from the Guerlain Boutique in Paris the year it came out. I have worn Shalimar for over 30 years and sometimes like a little something different. The perfumer at the boutique told me that women have a signature fragrance but always like a little diversion here and there. He also told me most scents smell different on every person that wears them. This has a wonderful winter aroma. Brings to mind Christmas, snow, pine trees and burning candles. On me it has a spicy smell, and on my daughter more of a woodsy tone. We both love it during the holidays.

This one smells like Christmas, combining all your favorite scents. Sounds weird, but it really works, the ginger really pulls it all together, and the incense makes it mesmerizing.
